2012 Upcoming Activities

Dear Purple Martin Landlords,

Our next educational meeting will be on Thursday, 1 March 2012.  Since we still have cold periods of weather popping up it would be good to revisit the subject of Emergency feeding and I will show a video. Any questions are welcomed.

Martins are arriving now in our area with the south winds from the Gulf.  And remember after 3 days of NO FOOD the Martins start to starve and need help.  Mealworms are available from: Brent Hamel, Explore Earth, Tel: 972-951-4490.  He sells to us:5,000 medium mealworms in a bag for $20.00.  Life cricket info can be found on our website.  It is always good to have something on hand.

If you have not sent in your 2012 PMLNT membership dues already, (dues deadline was 31 January 2012)  please complete the attached form and mail it with a check to Mr. Ray Doss, our Treasurer. His address is on the form.

Last Reminder !!!

We are now looking forward to tomorrow Saturday, 11 February 2012 to celebrate our "13th" PMLNT birthday. We all meet at 1:00pm at the the Spring Creek Restaurant in Grand Prairie, TX  You buy the food you like and we will provide the birthday cake and coffee.  Please come and join our celebration and socialize with your friends. We always have a good time.  You even could win a door prize.
